I have read a lot of the news releases on the Anita Okoye matter.

 

Facts you should know about it.

 

She made a lot of allegations. But not one shred of evidence was attached to prove her case.

 

She claimed she founded a company. Even that piece of information was not substantiated. 

 

She didn’t add any documents to show she had actually registered the company. 

 

She said she gave him 10m when he wanted to buy land. Not even a bank statement was supplied.

 

Now I am not saying these things are not true. But even if the judge were her father, who knew these facts to be true,  she cannot get judgment without showing proof of facts.

 

She didnt give evidence of how she contributed to his life while he was busy being a star.

 

Ofcourse she would have contributed  But if it is not put out there, the court no go reason am join for una o. 

 

Needless to say, the claim of 10m was withdrawn because she didn’t have to prove it.

 

She asked for a settlement of 20k dollars. 

 

My people. Settlement money is different from child care and maintenance.

 

So she didn’t ask for child maintenance and she didn’t get it.

 

To cap it all up. She didn’t sign the papers herself. It was someone who signed the affidavit. That is likely to have had a great impact on the outcome of the case.

 

My people. The court will give you a part of your spouse’s estate if you do the right thing.

 

The court would give you child maintenance if you do the right thing.

 

She deserved better than that judgment she got.
